What Half is

Half is a free tool for keeping track of who owes whom within a group. It does not hold, send or receive money, and it is not a bank, a payment service or financial advice.

Your responsibilities

• Check balances and payment details before you send money. Anyone with a group link can edit that group.
• Don't use Half for anything unlawful, to harass people, or to store content you don't have the right to share.
• Keep your group links private.

No warranty

Half is provided as is. We work hard to calculate balances correctly, but we can't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error free, and we are not liable for losses arising from its use, including incorrect balances or lost data. Export your data (Balances, then Download CSV) if it matters to you.

Removing content

We may remove groups that break these terms or are reported as abusive.

Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do.
